OnePlus 7 Pro Sketch Appears in Full-Page Newspaper Ad Confirms No-notch, Triple-Camera

The Chinese technology giant OnePlus will launch the next flagship models with the name OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14. The company has already sent an official invitation for the launch event, now they have posted a newspaper ad containing a sketch of the device.

Now a new full-screen advertisement has been spotted in a newspaper somewhere in the US confirm the model name and triple rear camera setup on the OnePlus 7 Pro. The company has already sent an official invite for the launch.

The ad was viewed in the New York Times newspaper and has the title ‘Just a better phone’. Scheduled to take place on May 14, the newspaper ad also stated that the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with “no bells & whistles”, “no bezel”, “no notch”, “no app lag”, “no bloatware”, “no price tag of $2000” and “no random music”. Furthermore, an engineering sketch of the OnePlus 7 Pro on the last page of the newspaper revealed the triple-camera setup, a USB-C port, a large battery, pop-up selfie camera, and the missing 3.5mm headphone jack. The ad also teases the design of the back panel, which shows the OnePlus logo below the triple camera setup. A recent report also confirmed this.

The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro have featured in a couple of leaks in the past, including renders showing the front and back. The device is confirmed to pack Snapdragon 855 SoC. The triple rear camera setup on the triple camera setup on the OnePlus 7 Pro comprises of 48MP primary camera, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens. We expect more details on the specs and design to emerge in the coming days before the launch date.
