OnePlus is all set to launch the successor of OnePlus 6 soon. Earlier this week, the retail box of the OnePlus 6T leaked online and confirmed company to introduce the In-display fingerprint sensor and waterdrop screen.
CNET has reported that the company has confirmed about the presence of in-display fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 6T. Some previous reports also claimed that the OnePlus 6T will sport a triple camera setup on the rear.
OnePlus seems to introduce the gradient color option in OnePlus 6T. Since the device will continue to sport glass back body, the rumors suggest the company will now include the wireless charging support. Instead of notch that we’ve seen in recent phones, we will be seeing the waterdrop notch at the front of the OnePlus 6T.
According to the earlier leaks and rumors, the OnePlus 6T is expected to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass 6 protection. and unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The device is also anticipated to equipped with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, with storage options of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
OnePlus 6T is expected to sport a triple-camera setup with a 20-megapixel sensor, a 16-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor. The 6T is likely to be packed with a battery capacity of 3,840mAh and could run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with Oxygen Skin. We can also expect Android Pie update on this device.
The OnePlus 6T is expected to launch on October of this year, nearly six months after the OnePlus 6 was announced as hinted by the leaked image.
