OnePlus 6T Will Have A Feature No iPhone Has

Next couple of months, the tech is shaping up to be crazy. The iPhone event on 12th September to Google Pixel 3 launch in October. But potentially, what is more exciting compared to both of those is OnePlus 6T. The OnePlus 6T recent leaks and rumors are heating up. From waterdrop notch to an in-line fingerprint scanner to a triple-camera setup, the phone seems very promising.

Year to year, OnePlus releases two flagship phones. It surprises and also upsets the buyers who purchased it prior to new launch. This year doesn’t look any different.

Earlier this week, the retail box of the OnePlus 6T leaked online and confirmed company to introduce the In-display fingerprint sensor and waterdrop notch.

CNET has reported that the company has confirmed about the presence of in-display fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 6T. Some previous reports also claimed that the OnePlus 6T will sport a triple camera setup on the rear. The In-display fingerprint sensor on the upcoming OnePlus device will be called the ‘Screen Lock’.

OnePlus told CNET in the statement – “We unlock our phones multiple times a day, and Screen Unlock reduces the number of steps to complete the action. By adding this feature as an addition to other display unlocking options such as Face Unlock, users will have options to unlock the display in a way that is most efficient for them”.

Currently, few smartphones including Vivo X21, Vivo X21 UD, Vivo V11, Vivo Nex, Vivo V11 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition, and Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS comes with the in-display fingerprint sensor and OnePlus 6T will be the new addition to this list.

As you can see in the above images, it hints OnePlus 6T could launch on October 17th. But it’s unclear whether that’s when the OnePlus 6T will be unveiled officially.
