After launching the OnePlus 6T in the new Thunder Purple color variant in China last week, the company said that it will be launched in other countries soon. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker has announced the launch date of the new OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color variant in India. The new OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant comes with gradient finish back, which enhances the overall look of the smartphone. The gradient finish makes the device look premium in-hand. The specs packed inside the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple is also the same as the other variants.

The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple edition will be on sale in Amazon India, OnePlus online store, OnePlus exclusive offline stores at 2 PM on 16th November and also be available on Reliance Digital and Croma outlets, earlier at 11 AM.

Talking about the price, the company has priced at Rs 41,999. Moreover, the specs packed inside the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple is also the same as the other variants.

OnePlus 6T Specifications

The OnePlus 6T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and features 6.41-inch full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio plus Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The “immersive” screen has a small waterdrop-style notch and a thin chin. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and the company claims that it is the fastest-performing implementation of in-display fingerprint authentication yet.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6T features a 16-megapixel primary and 20-megapixel secondary camera sensor on the rear and an aperture of f/1.7 for the primary lens. OnePlus 6T comes with a new Nightscape scene that optimizes the photos taken during the night. The Nightscape feature is also coming to the predecessor OnePlus 6. The portrait mode is the main thing that the company has worked on to improve the overall camera experience. The Portrait Mode now comes with Studio Lighting that essentially shifts the focus on the subject as it becomes more engaging in the frame in comparison to the other elements.

The device is backed by 3700 mAh battery which is bigger than its predecessors and it will also support the company’s proprietary fast charging (previously known as Dash Charging). The OnePlus 6T ships with the OxygenOS running on top of Android 9 Pie.
