We have seen several leaks about the OnePlus 6T from last few months and the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 6T soon. Now, another update regarding upcoming OnePlus device has flown up on Weibo demonstrating the OnePlus 6T’s retail box, and it gives away a considerable amount of information about the upcoming smartphone itself as well.
As found in the picture shared on Weibo by VP Technology (a tech blogger from China) the box appears as though it’ll have the names of different OnePlus Forum members printed on it.
As you can see in the leaked image, the OnePlus 6T box reveals that the smartphone will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and a Waterdrop Notch just like Oppo R17 Pro. Surprisingly, the device does borrow cues the waterdrop notch from OPPO F9 and the in-display fingerprint scanning from the Vivo V11 Pro.
As you know, the Notch is the most overhyped thing in the smartphone world after launching of iPhone X, the smartphone manufacturers are started to reduce the size of the notch. Sibling of OnePlus, Oppo came with a smaller notch named ‘waterdrop notch’ in their recent phones. It seems OnePlus also integrating the waterdrop notch in OnePlus 6T, as you can see in the leaked image.
According to the previous rumors, the OnePlus 6T is expected to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ display and unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The device is also anticipated to equipped with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, with storage options of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
Other rumored features of OnePlus 6T include a triple-camera setup at the back with a 20-megapixel sensor, a 16-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor. The 6T is foreseeable to be packed with a battery capacity of 3,840mAh and could run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. We can also expect Android Pie update on OnePlus 6T. OnePlus 6T could feature a new 50W Dash Charge that would be based in Oppo’s Super VOOC charging That power would allow 40% of charge in just ten minutes.
