In India, the OnePlus 6T launch event is organised at KDJW Stadium in New Delhi on October 30. Interested fans across the country can buy their launch event passes on OnePlus’ official website by paying the amount of Rs 999 starting at 10AM IST from October 17. Besides the launch event, attendees will also get to meet OnePlus community members, exclusive OnePlus merchandise and a pair of the new Bullets Wireless earphones for free. Moreover, they will also get to try the new OnePlus 6T smartphone at the experience zone at the launch event.
Furthermore, it seems the company is planning to discontinue the OnePlus 6 smartphone soon after the OnePlus 6T launch. This could be the reason behind the huge price cut on the OnePlus 6 in Amazon Great Indian Festival sale which is scheduled from 10th October.
Previous leaks have suggested that the OnePlus 6T could feature a bigger battery than the predecessor. The OnePlus 6T will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor as the predecessor OnePlus 6. The device will have a 6 GB or 8GB RAM and storage extending up to 256GB.
The 6T is expected to launch in 3 configurations – 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage. The OnePlus 6T will have a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED waterdrop notch display with 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio
