Oneplus 6 which is the highest grossing phone in the present market( might be the one you hold right now) is once again glint with a new variant OnePlus 6 Red Edition has been unveiled in India. It features an amber-like effect utilized a never-done-before technique utilizing optical coating, evaporative film, and six panels of glass. It sports a metallic red shimmer coupled with the red, mirror-like fingerprint sensor that contrasts with the silver camera lens accent.

The company has announced that the smartphone will go on sale starting July 16 at Rs 39,999. Customers will be able to purchase the device from Amazon India website and official OnePlus website.

The Oneplus 6 claims that the new edition is the unique piece which is designed through a “never-done-before” technique using optical coating, evaporative film, and six panels of glass. There is an added anti-reflective layer on top of the glass panel that allows more light to reach the bottom layers of the glass before being reflected off the device, creating a sense of depth, A translucent orange layer intermixes with the red base layer to achieve a radiant glossy red, OnePlus explains in a press statement.
Apart from design, the new variant specs are similar to its Oneplus 6 remaining variants.
The OnePlus 6 comes with a 6.28-inch full HD+ Optic AMOLED screen with 19:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with an iPhone X like notch which can be enabled and disabled as required by the user.
The device boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and is upgradable to Android P.And coupled with an up to 8GB of RAM and Adreno 630 GPU.
For snappers, The handset has a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary Sony IMX519 sensor and a f/1.7 aperture and a 20-megapixel secondary Sony IM376K sensor. Both sensors are supported by a dual-LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor with a f/2.0 aperture.
To recall, the OnePlus comes in two variants 6GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at Rs 34,999, and 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage priced at Rs 39,999.
