Xiaomi is one of the biggest success stories in China with its plethora of launches and the most recent one is Redmi Note 7 Where it sold out in just around 8.5 minutes in its first sale. However, we now talk about its upcoming flagship smartphone which has been in the rumour mill since few months. It is not so surprising that Xiaomi CEO post the official renders of its upcoming phone which he had done same with Redmi Note 7. Now CEO Leu Jun posted a bunch of renders of the upcoming Mi 9 flagship on his Weibo page in order to explain the process taken to achieve the impressive design.
Among these renders, there is a photograph that showcases the real image of Mi 9. Along with this, there is a new official poster that shows the Xiaomi brand ambassador holding the smartphone.
According to the Xiaomi CEO, the blue colour Mi 9 will show different colours like Rainbow depending upon the angle and colour of light that hits on it. The firm achieved this by undergoing the phone a nano-scale laser holography process with a double-layer coating for the finishing.
Sadly, the photos shared by the Lei Jun only focused on a rear design where none of the photos reveals the front display of the smartphone. Thanks to the leaked images yesterday, gives a pretty good idea about how the front of the device looks. Where the device bears a waterdrop display that houses a single front camera. On the back, we get a closer look at the triple rear cameras which is made up of a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary camera, and a ToF sensor.
On the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port accompanied by a speaker grill on both sidesXiaomi already removed the audio jack back when it launched the Mi 6, so it is no surprise it is missing on the Mi 9 too. And it comes with an in-display scanner as current premium phones.
To Remind you, The Xiaomi Mi 9 will launch on February 20 and will pack a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It will run MIUI 10 based on Android Pie out of the box and have a 3,500mAh battery with support for 27 W fast charging.
