| By Shandilya

ZTE subsidiary Nubia is quite busy in unveiling some most interesting smartphones in this year. Being experimenting with different forms of device types, turning lot of heads with its foldable smartphone/wristwatch hybrid at IFA earlier this year, the company is now planning on releasing a dual screen phone.

Ni Fei, CEO of ZTE’s Nubia sub-brand, has officially confirmed that the Nubia X will be unveiled on October 31 in a teaser surfaced on Chinese social networking site Weibo. Thanks to the leaks by which it already gave us a pretty good look at what the phone will look like, with its 6.2-inch front screen and the 5.1-inch OLED panel on the back.

Surprisingly, the phone does not have a front camera. The change is understandable that is it came with interesting feature with dual display since users can simply use the phone’s main camera and the screen on the back to take selfies.

According to the TENNA listing, the specifications of the device is like this, the screen on the front is a 6.26” LCD panel (1,080 x 2,280px). It doesn’t have a notch as there’s no selfie camera. That’s because you can use the main camera and the screen on the back – 5.1” OLED (720 x 1,520px). This display will act as a viewfinder, allowing users to take selfies using the dual-camera system at the back, reportedly comprised of a 24-megapixel sensor and a 16-megapixel sensor.

This is one of the most interesting innovative ideas after the oppo finds X touting camera concept. This innovative solution made the company come up with to do away with bezels. The secondary rear screen is also expected to have an ‘Always On’ mode and will be able to display the full Android user interface.

The phone’s purported specifications include a Snapdragon 845 paired with 6GB of RAM, placing it squarely in the ranks of flagship devices. It is said to be powered by a 3,800mAh battery and will avail in two colours choices Gold and Black.
