Yesterday, Nubia announced the Red Magic 6 series as its latest gaming smartphones of the year. The new Red Magic 6 series includes two new phones: Nubia Red Magic 6 and the Red Magic 6 Pro. The major highlights of the Red Magic 6 lineup include a Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a triple-camera set up, up to 18GB of RAM. It has arrived in China with a starting price of CNY 3,799 (approx Rs 42,700).

There is also a Transparent Edition of Red Magic 6 Pro that costs CNY 5,599 (approx. Rs. 63,000) for the 16GB + 256GB variant and CNY 6,599 (approx. Rs. 74,200) for the 18GB + 512GB variant.
The Red Magic 6 series is up for pre-registration in China via JD.com and the company website. The smartphones will go on sale from March 11 in the home country.

On the front, the Nubia Red Magic 6 flaunts a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, 500Hz single finger touch sampling rate, 360Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate, and 91.28 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also boasts of 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, SGS high brush low smear and SGS Low Blue Light Eye Care certifications.
The Nubia Red Magic 6 is fueled by the Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. It ships with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device comes pre-installed with Android 11 OS and MagicOS 4.0. The smartphone is fitted with a 5,050 mAh battery that supports 66W fast-charging.
The Nubia Red Magic 6 has a tiny sensor for selfies housed in the top bezel so there is no notch, hole-punch cutout, or a pop-up selfie camera. Its rear-facing camera island has a 64 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro camera.
The other features that can be found on the Nubia Red Magic 6 include ICE6.0 cooling system, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The audio department is managed by dual stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra support and Qualcomm aptX. The phone also has dual-touch gaming shoulder buttons and a light-up logo on the back.
