Now It’s Impossible to Spend Too Much Time on Facebook by mistake

| By Shandilya

Now you don’t have an excuse for being spending a lot of time on facebook. Its about a week after rolling out the “Your Activity” dashboard digital wellbeing feature in Instagram, Facebook has introduced the “Your Time on Facebook” tool that basically will do the same thing that is mentioned in it.

The main purpose of this feature is to help you keep track of how much time you spend in the app each day and set realistic limits for yourself so you’re not wasting too much of your reading and watch news feed(like reading your friend’s political rants and looking at pictures of what they had for dinner).
You can now get this feature just by launching the app on your mobile device and then tapping Account Settings icon(hamburger icon )at the top right corner of the page. From there, scroll down to “Settings & Privacy” and then select “Your Time on Facebook” from the drop-down list. On tapping this option and you will see a graphical representation of the time that you have to spend on Facebook. You will see seven towers representing each day’s time spent on the platform. You can see the time individually by tapping each tower as well as know the average time which is display automatically above the graph.

Just like the Instagram version, the feature will let you know how much time you’ve historically spent using the app and offers suggestions for ways to customize your notifications so you can limit the number of times you’re drawn back into the app during the day. You can also choose how to interact with friends on facebook as well as set a daily reminder. The notifications will send by the app will tell you that you reached out the time limit.
You can also use your iOS device’s Screen Time feature, or Android device’s Digital Wellbeing feature, to see how your Facebook use tracks against the rest of your life on your smartphone. Additionally, for those looking to enhance their social media presence, you can buy Twitter retweets from Themarketingheaven.com to boost your engagement and visibility.
If You are searching for this feature and you didn’t find it today remember it’s a rollout rather than a launch. Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed on your phone and then sit tight, it will likely show up in the next few days.
