Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, founded Nothing a couple of years ago and released the Nothing Ear 1 earbuds on the market. The company has been working on a few new products that are set to launch soon.
There have been hints that the company is launching a new product, and rumors indicate that the company could launch a smartphone in the coming weeks. Ahead of the official announcement, an alleged image of the smartphone has been leaked online.
Apparently, a Nothing smartphone was seen in the hands of Carl Pie and it was shared by popular tipster Evan Blass. The founder of the company appears to be showcasing the device to someone in the image.
The leaked photo doesn’t reveal the exact design of the phone, but it does reveal a black back panel and a circular camera module with an LED flash. It’s likely that the device shown in the image is a prototype.
Carl Pei recently posted a tweet indicating that the company is working on a new smartphone equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon-series processor and running Android OS.
On Twitter, the company shared a photo of a transparent frame that appears to be a smartphone, although it might be something else. From the teasers, the next product from the brand is likely to have a transparent body, similar to its Nothing Ear (1).
There will be five new products from Nothing, ranging from a power bank and wireless earphones to a smartphone. According to reports, the company’s upcoming power bank may be called Nothing Power (1) and its first smartphone under the name Nothing Phone (1). The company plans to introduce these products this year.
