According to reports, HMD Global will soon introduce Nokia G10. Even though there is no official word on the phone yet, an unreleased Nokia phone, has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking website with the model number of HMD Global Nokia G10. Moreover, the listing has revealed some key specifications of the upcoming Nokia handset.
On the processor front, the alleged Nokia G10 is said to carry the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, which is mentioned with the MT6762 model number. Additionally, the octa-core chipset will be paired with the 3GB of RAM and run on Android 11 right out of the box. The benchmarking site also reveals the Nokia G10 single-core and multi-core test scores. The handset managed to achieve scores of 150 and 858 on the two tests.
However, nothing else was revealed about the forthcoming device from the Geekbench listing. The company has scheduled an event on April 8 where it is expected to release Nokia G10, Nokia X10, and Nokia X20 budget 5G smartphones.
Nokia G10 Specifications
Going by the earlier leaks and rumors, the Nokia G10 will have a 6.4-inch HD+ display. Under the hood, the handset is said to feature an octa-core chipset alongside 3GB RAM/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage with an option to expand via microSD.
The rear panel of the phone will have a quad-camera setup with a combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 5-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2MP macro alongside a LED flash. Upfront, there will be a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Software-wise, it will run Android 11 out of the box and will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery that has support for 10W fast-charging.
A report from NokiaPoweruser also revealed that the Nokia G10 will launch with a starting price of €140 (roughly Rs 12,098). The smartphone will be available in two colour options: blue and purple.
