Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) – the first smartphone with 4 cameras launched recently and Huawei P30 Pro is set to launch in early 2019, could be the second phone with four cameras. Now, the latest leak of the Nokia 9 Pure confirms the existance of the device with five rear cameras. The design of the Nokia 9 PureView with five cameras is not a secret, as there are some visible leaks.
Now, the case images of the Nokia 9 PureView leaked online that matches with the CAD renders of the device that had surfaced last month. The case of the Nokia 9 is currently listed on Amazon UK. The newly leaked TPU case of the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView has seven cutouts for the cameras. Rumors suggest that five of them will belong to various kinds of sensors such as RGB, depth sensor, wide-angle lens, telephoto lens and monochrome sensor. The other cutouts could belong to dual-tone LED flash and a sensor for proximity detection.
On the lower edge of the case, there are two openings: One could be for the USB-C port, other could be for a speaker.
The leaked case of the Nokia 9 PureView also shows the alleged position of the power button and the volume rocker on the right side. There is fingerprint scanner hole on the back of the case. In other words, the Nokia 9 PureView may be the first Nokia phone with a in-display fingerprint scanner.
According to previous reports, the Nokia 9 PureView is tipped to come with a massive 5.9-inch QHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and narrow bezels on the top and bottom. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 under the hoods coupled with 8 gigs of RAM. The leak specs reveal that the Nokia 9 will come in only one variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone could come with a 3,800mAh battery. The device is also expected to support wireless charging.
Presumably, it was earlier expected to arrive by the end of 2018, but now it seems that the company is planning to launch the smartphone at the beginning of 2019.
