HMD Global has officially launched a new mid-range smartphone named Nokia 7.2. It is the latest entrant and is a direct successor to the Nokia 7.1. The unique selling point of this new phone is its triple rear camera setup and a 20MP front camera.

The Nokia 7.2 features a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display has a waterdrop notch, HDR support and the handset has 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back with an aluminum frame in the middle. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor and comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 512GB by inserting a microSD card. Software-wise, the smartphone boots Android 9 Pie out of the box as part of the Android One program.
In the camera department, the Nokia 7.2 offers a 48-megapixel Zeiss Optic primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV and a 5-megapixel depth sensor along with LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the device is equipped with a 20-megapixel Zeiss quad-pixel snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
The connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM, and USB Type-C port. A 3,500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge support completes the list of the specifications of the Nokia 7.2.
Nokia 7.2 Price and Availability
Nokia 7.2 is launched in two RAM and storage variants- 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB. The base variant with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 18,599 while the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model costs Rs 19,599. The Nokia 7.2 will be available for purchase on Nokia.com/phones, Flipkart and major retail outlets in India starting September 23. It will be available in Cyan Green and Charcoal color variants.

Buyers can get 10 percent cashback using HDFC Bank credit and debit cards on EMI and regular transactions done through Pinelabs terminals on the retail outlet. The offer will be available at retail outlets until October 31, 2019. There is also a special zero down payment, zero processing fee and no interest cost for consumers purchasing Nokia 7.2 using Bajaj Finance, IDFC First Bank, HDFC Bank CD loans and HDBFS till October 31, 2019. Jio subscribers can also avail benefits worth Rs 7,200 on Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans.
Consumers purchasing the Nokia 7.2 on Nokia.com will receive a Rs 2,000 gift card, while those purchasing the phone via Flipkart will receive extra Rs 2,000 off on exchange. This offer is valid until October 31.
