Nokia 7.1 With Pure Display Screen Launched in India

HMD Global finally launched Nokia 7.1 the successor of Nokia 6.1 aka in India today. Interested buyers can purchase the phone on sale that sets on December 7. The key selling point of this smartphone is the handset features a PureDisplay panel as its primary highlight, supporting HDR10. This is the first handset that sports PureDisplay screen technology, which HMD claims are capable of delivering “stunning HDR10 cinematic quality entertainment.”

The smartphone comes with the best buy price of Rs 19,999. Where the smartphone will go o sale from December 7 and Nokia 7.1 will be up for grabs across top mobile retailers in India and on Nokia.com/phones.

Specifications and features

On the design side, the new handset follows its predecessor with an eye-catchy glossy glass-sandwich design. The device features a 6000 series aluminium frame, with 84% glass used across the board, which makes the Nokia 7.1 look gorgeous and tempting to pick up.

The company claims that the PureDisplay of the Nokia 7.1 will offer an excellent multimedia experience to the users that comes with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display lighting will automatically adjust the brightness and contrast to ambient lighting conditions – ensuring content is still visible and vibrant in bright sunshine. So you feel more comfortable with the display on the bright sunny day.

On the hardware internals, the Nokia 7.1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset paired which is also seen on the recently launched Redmi Note 6 Pro. The chipset is coupled with 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB internal storage which came with expandable up to 400GB.

On the camera, the Nokia 7.1 comes with Zeiss optics, much like the Nokia 7 Plus. On the rear panel, the phone packs a primary sensor of 12MP and a secondary sensor of 5MP. On the front, the new Nokia 7.1 comes with AI enhanced 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. The selfie camera will also work as facial recognition technology which will help the users to unlock the phone just by looking at the screen.

The handset packs a 3,060mAh battery. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie based on Google’s Android One programme.
