Nokia 6 (2018) 4GB RAM launched in India, sale on Amazon from May 13:price revealed.

HMD Global, which owns the Nokia brand, had announced earlier that the company will be bringing the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant of the phone to India. Now, Amazon has already started taking notification registrations for the smartphone on its website.

The phone, which is called as Nokia 6.1 on the website, will start selling from 13 May exclusively on Amazon.in. Those interested can click on the ‘Notify Me’ option to get updates on when the phone becomes available. The price of the Nokia 6.1 is Rs 18,999 which makes sense considering the current Nokia 6 (2018) 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage is selling for Rs 16,999.

Nokia 6 (2018) has been listed with several launch offers. For instance, Airtel will be offering Rs 2,000 cashback to Nokia 6 (2018) buyers. Access to Airtel TV will be free till December 31. Those who purchase the smartphone will also get 25 per cent discount on domestic hotels from MakeMyTrip. Other deals include no cost EMI for up to 12 months as well as free customisable prints or 20 per cent off on Picsdream Moments & Memories. Notably, the 3GB variant of the Nokia 6 (2018) is available in the country via Nokia Mobile Shop stores and select offline outlets including Reliance Digital, Croma, Poorvika, Sangeetha, and others.

Specs

Except RAM and storage capacity all the features of 4 GB variant are similar to 3 GB variant. The display also sports the same 16:9 aspect ratio as before.The dual-SIM Nokia 6 (2018) is part of the Android One programme and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD display. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, coupled with 3GB/ 4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage. Storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

The phone has a 16 MP camera sensor and the front comes with an 8 MP camera sensor.
