Earlier, a teaser from Nokia revealed that the company will be hosting a global launch event on June 6. And now, a tipster has revealed the exact release date for Nokia’s upcoming mid-range phone. According to Nokia Anew, Nokia will unveil the Nokia 6.2 aka Nokia X71 on June 6.
The tipster not only revealed the exact announcement date for the Nokia 6.2, but also hinted at the price tag of the handset. According to his tweet, Nokia 6.2 will launch with a price tag around $290 (approx. Rs. 20,200) similar to the predecessor Nokia 6.1.

The Nokia 6.2 is expected to be the global variant of the Nokia X71 that was launched in Taiwan a few weeks ago. In terms of the specifications, the Nokia 6.2 will sport a 6.39-inch large display. The device will be armed by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage. The Nokia 6.2 will run on latest Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box. The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and it will be backed by a 3500mAh battery.

There is a triple rear camera setup on the Nokia 6.2 – a ZEISS-certified 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 8-megapixel 120-degree super-wide angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
To recall, the Nokia 6.1 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display and it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The handset sports Carl Zeiss branded 16MP primary camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone has a 3,000mAh battery and it supports a USB Type-C port with fast charging.
