HMD Global has announced a higher variant of Nokia 5.1 Plus with 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Nokia 5.1 Plus was launched in October last year. The company initially announced the Nokia 5.1 Plus with 3 GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64 GB storage.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus new variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 16,499. It comes in Gloss Black, Gloss White and Gloss Midnight Blue color variants and the new variants will go on sale starting February 7.
The company launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus for Rs 10,999. Recently, the phone received a price cut of Rs 400 price cut, after which it is now available for Rs 10,599. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage model is priced at Rs 14,499.
On the Nokia 5.1 Plus, Airtel users can also avail Rs 2,000 instant cashback, and 240GB additional data on prepaid recharge plans of Rs 199, Rs 249 and Rs 448.
Apart from more memory storage now, the new variant has the same set of specifications of the existing 3GB and 4GB variants. Nokia 5.1 Plus features 5.8-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Fueled by a 3,060mAh battery, the Nokia 5.1 Plus has dual rear cameras with the 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The dual-SIM phone is an Android-One initiative and runs on Android 9 Pie. For connectivity, it has features like Bluetooth, dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, GPS and Wi-Fi.
