HMD Global recently teased the launch of its mid-range smartphone – Nokia 4.2 in India. According to the teaser, the smartphone will be launched on May 7th in India. The Nokia 4.2 is a latest and an affordable Android One smartphone from the HMD Global.
Nokia India has published a new teaser on Twitter that shows a smartphone with a power button sporting an LED notification light and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The 14-second video teaser that posted on 3rd May also contains a caption “All your answers are a tap away. 4 days before you can #DoItAll Stay tuned!” which hints at the launch date May 7. Unfortunately, the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming device except the two special buttons.

To jog your memory, Nokia 4.2 features a 5.71-inch waterdrop notch display with HD+ resolution. On the performance front, the phone will be backed by the Snapdragon 439 SoC that is paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of storage. There is a microSD card slot on the device for expansion of storage.
The handset includes a decent battery of 3,000mAh battery. The rear shell of the phone is fitted with 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup. For capturing selfies, it has a frontal shooter of 8-megapixel.
Connectivity options on the Nokia 4.2 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient mild, proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
