As we were expecting a new smartphone from Nokia’s parent company HMD Global in India, a new report citing industry sources claimed that the Nokia 2.4 will be launched in India at the end of November. However, there is no official statement released from Nokia itself.
To recall, the company unveiled the Nokia 2.4 back in September with decent specifications. The budget phone comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear and packs MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The phone was launched initially in two RAM and three color variants. Nokia 2.4 price in the European market starts at EUR 119 (approx. Rs. 10,500). Other details regarding the India launch, availability of the Nokia 2.4 are not known at the moment.
Nokia 2.4 Specifications
Nokia 2.4 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with 720×1,600 pixels screen resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Helio P22 processor. You get a dual-camera setup on the rear that comprises a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel camera. Upfront, it features a 5-megapixel camera.
The phone is backed by a 4500mAh battery. It boots Android 10 OS. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a rear-facing fingerprint sensor on the phone.
