HMD Global owned Nokia launched its new budget smartphone Nokia 2.2 in India today. This smartphone comes with some exciting features like a waterdrop notch, Face-unlock and MediaTek Helio A22 processor. Let us now see more about the specifications, price and variants of this smartphone.

Nokia 2.2 Specifications

Nokia 2.2 sports a 5.71-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. This smartphone is powered by a Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22  processor coupled with RAM up to 3GB.

To talk about the camera setup, Nokia 2.2 comes with a 13MP primary camera on the back with a single LED flash. On the front, it has a 5MP camera for selfies. Both the cameras come with  AI-powered imaging experience which enables the user to capture the best photographs. It also comes with a face-unlock feature and a dedicated Google Assistant Button. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with 5W charging support.

Runs Android 9 Pie OS, this smartphone also comes with digital well-being features like Dashboard, App Timers, Wind Down, and the improved Do Not Disturb. Connectivity features of the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB port, and GPS.

Nokia 2.2 Price

Nokia 2.2 comes in two variants with 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 400GB using a microSD card. The base variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage is priced at Rs.7,699 and the variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage comes for Rs.8,699.

During a limited period offer, the base variant will be available for Rs. Rs. 6,999 and the 3GB RAM variant comes for Rs.7,999.  Both the smartphones will be made available in two colour options Steel and Tungsten Black.

This new budget smartphone will be available on Flipkart and Nokia Official Store and other major retailers across the country starting June 11. The pre-bookings for this phone are already live on the Nokia official store.
