New Poco smartphone confirmed to launch next month

| By DWR Editor

POCO, which has recently been spun off from Xiaomi as a separate entity, has confirmed that the new Pocophone will be launched in India next month, which is February. However, the company has not shared the exact launch date yet. Even before any other official announcements, several reports on the internet claimed that the company will unveil Poco F2 Lite and Poco X2 in India very soon.

To build anticipation around the forthcoming Poco smartphone, the brand already started teasing the phone on various social media handles. In an interview with Outlook India, POCO India General Manager C Manmohan said “We will launch our new phone next month. We will start online and then progress to additional channels,”

While Poco has now confirmed that the latest Poco phone will go official next month, the smartphone’s name still remains unknown. However, there are some rumors making rounds suggesting that the device could be called Poco F2 Lite.

As per the earlier report, the Poco F2 Lite will be the rebranded version of the Redmi K30 which was launched in China a few days ago. We’re expecting the key hardware of the Poco F2 Lite to remain more or less the same as Redmi K30. While we already have somewhat of an idea of Poco F2 Lite and Poco X2, we’re expecting more leaks to surface as we get closer to the launch date. You can expect us to update the space with the latest information.
