New Galaxy F series smartphone launch via Flipkart teased; could be Galaxy F62

A new Samsung smartphone may soon make its way to the Indian shores. The South Korean smartphone brand has teased the launch of a smartphone via Flipkart. The e-commerce platform has dedicated a page, suggesting that the upcoming smartphone will launch under the Galaxy F series. While the company hasn’t shared any details about the phone name or its specs, rumors suggest that it could be called Galaxy F62. Take a look at the recent report around the Samsung Galaxy F62 and find out what it has in store for us.

The teaser hints at the phone as ‘#FullOnSpeedy’. While the teaser doesn’t reveal anything about the phone’s specifications or price tag, it does give a slight glimpse at the smartphone’s design. As per the teaser image, the phone will have a square-shaped quad-rear camera module with an LED flash, placed in the top left corner. 

The phone is likely to have a volume rocker and power button on the right edge. Surprisingly, the teaser image doesn’t show any kind of notch on the display. We can expect a pop-up front camera on the phone considering it is a budget phone.

Samsung Galaxy F62 Specifications (Expected)

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy F62 is expected to have a quad-rear camera system that will be led by a 64MP primary sensor assisted by other sensors. It is also reported that the phone could arrive with a 32MP front-facing camera. The device will have 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As per the previous leaked Geekbench listing, the handset will come with the Exynos 9825 chipset.

On the display front, the Samsung Galaxy F62 is said to feature a 6.7-inch sAMOLED display. It could pack a large enough 7,000mAh battery with at least a 25W fast charging. It might run Android 11-based One UI 3.1 skin.
