Netflix announced a mobile-only subscription plan in India to give a tough competition to the other players like Amazon Prime and Hotstar in the market. The price of this mobile-only plan is Rs.199 which will enable the users to stream Netflix on any smartphone or mobile at a time in Standard Definition (SD.)
This is the fourth subscription plan available along with the Rs.499 Basic, Rs.649 Standard and Rs.799 Premium plans. The main objective of introducing this new plan is to make Netflix accessible to more people and attract users who prefer to watch on smartphones or tablets.

As we already know that Netflix is offering a one-month trial period for the users, this Rs.199 plan will only allow the users to watch their favourite shows only on their mobile or tablets. Which clearly indicates that users won’t be able to stream on laptops or televisions. Users also won’t be able to connect their phones with TV’s to telecast the shows on it.
This plan won’t be helpful to users who are keen to use Netflix on their laptops or TV’s. The starting plan which supports both Mobile and Laptop is for Rs.499 which will allow you to watch on smartphone or laptop at a time. The next plan which comes for Rs.649 will allow the users to watch on both mobile and laptop any two screens at a time. And now comes the premium plan which is for Rs.799. With this subscription, users will be able to watch on four screens at a time.
