After series of leaks and rumors, Motorola finally unveiled Moto Razr foldable phone. The all-new Motorola Razr 2019 features a flexible screen that folds completely in half to give it the traditional clamshell look. It does not have buttons when flipped open and instead comes with a foldable screen.

Motorola Razr Specifications
Talking about the specifications, the new Motorola Razr comes with a 6.2-inch main Flex View p-OLED display with 2142 x 876 pixels resolution and a tall aspect ratio of 21:9. It can be accessed by unfolding the phone. When it is closed, you get a 2.7-inch gOLED display with 600×800 pixels resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. When unfolded, the Razr flip phone measures 171.5 x 71.95 x 7.06mm. There is a capacitive fingerprint sensor on the chin of the device.
For selfies, it it has a 5-megapixel camera and there is also a 16-megapixel camera below the screen. Camera features on the phone include dual-LED flash, laser autofocus, Dual Pixel autofocus, Night Vision mode and EIS.
Motorola has ditched the 3.5-mm headphone jack on the new Razr phone. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS and USB-C.
Under the hold, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core SoC. There is also 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Powering the phone is a 2,510mAh non-removable battery with 15W TurboPower charging support. On the software front, the foldable smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie OS, comes with eSIM connectivity and has a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. There is also water repellent nano coating to protect from accidental spills and splashes.
Motorola Razr Price and Availability
Coming to the pricing, the Motorola Razr phone is priced at $1,499 (approx. Rs. 1,07,400). The phone will be up for pre-orders through Verizon Wireless from December 26. It will he available for buyers in a single Noir Black color. The company will start shipping the phone in the US on Jan. 9. The retail package of the handset will include Razr earbuds and Denon Audio tuned USB-C headsets. Specially designed cases for the foldable phone will be available through Otterbox, Kate Spade and other brands.
The Motorola Razr comes with a standard warranty of one year which also covers screen replacements. Users will have to spend $299 to get the screen replaced outside the warranty. The company is also launching the Moto Razr 2019 in India and a registration page of the phone is already up on the official website where the interested buyers can sign up to get further updates.
