In September, Motorola had launched the Motorola Razr 5G globally. It had arrived with a price tag $1,399.99 (approx. Rs 1,02,824) in US. Today, the company has unveiled the Motorola Razr 5G in India.

The Motorola Razr 5G will be available in single Polished Graphite colour variant priced at Rs 1,24,999 for the single 8GB/256GB model. But the company is offering an additional discount of 10,000 Instant discount/cashback offer with HDFC credit card and debit/credit card EMI transactions, which brings the price further down to Rs 1,14,999. Jio also offering double data benefits with Razr 5G on recharge of an annual plan worth Rs 4999. With this plan, users will get 350GB + 350 GB high-speed data without any daily capping and another year of unlimited voice and 700 GB data. This amounts to a saving of Rs 14,997), an additional 1-year of unlimited services free-of-cost. Buyers can also grab no-cost EMIs for up to 12 months using HDFC bank and all leading banks.

The Moto Razr 5G bears a flexible screen that folds in half featuring the iconic clamshell design. The secondary screen of the device can be used by touch and it can be used to operate some of the functions of the phone. According to Motorola, the new Razr 5G can withstand up to 200,000 flips.

The phone has a 6.2-inch foldable pOLED display that flaunts a screen resolution of 876×2142 pixels, and a 21:9 aspect ratio. There is also a secondary display of 2.7-inch which is OLED and it has a screen resolution of 600×800 pixels.

Under the hood, it is paired with a Snapdragon 765G processor alongside Adreno 620 GPU. The device packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. However, it lacks a microSD card slot for additional storage. In terms of optics, the Motorola Razr 5G sports a 48-megapixel main camera below the secondary display with f/1.7 aperture and OIS, as well as a side-mounted LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it has a 20-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The device boots the Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box. Ticking all these is a 2,800mAh battery that supports 15W TurboPower fast charging. The back of the phone is also a place for a fingerprint scanner.

It also comes with connectivity options like 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.0 Type-C. The Motorola Razr 5G comes with support for eSIM functionality apart from the nano-SIM slot. Unfortunately, there is no 3.5mm audio jack on the phone.

It measures 169.2 x 72.6 x 7.9mm when unfolded and when folded the dimension is 91.7 x 72.6 x 16mm. It weighs 192 grams. The IPX8 rated phone has four microphones and features a bottom-positioned speaker as well.
