Motorola One, Motorola One Power launched: Specs, features, price and everything else

Motorola, a Lenovo-owned company he Motorola One and Motorola One Power at IFA 2018 event in Berlin after a series of rumours. The key highlights of these two devices wear a notch on the top and being the company’s latest Android One devices are the first global products that come with stock android.

As Android One phones, Motorola promises to deliver timely security updates and two Android software updates. The phones will be among the first to get upgraded to Android 9 Pie when launched.

Motorola One and Motorola One Power: Price, Availability

The Motorola One power in India is expected to be set at about Rs. 14,000  for 4Gb RAM and 64 GB  internal storage variant. The company confirmed the device availability in India that is coming in October.

The Motorola One has been priced at €299 (Rs.24,800 approx.). It will be going on sale in various countries in Europe, Latin America and the Asia Pacific in the coming months. However, the pricing and availability in India are yet to be revealed.

Motorola One, Motorola One Power specifications

Display:

The Motorola One sports a 5.9-inch HD+ Max Vision display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and the Motorola One Power gets a bigger 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a similar aspect ratio.

Processor:

Powering the Motorola One hooked by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz with an Adreno 506 GPU. while Motorola One Power gets a Snapdragon 636 SoC.

RAM:

Both these smartphones are coupled with 4GB of RAM.

Memory:

In terms of storage, Motorola One comes with a 64GB of internal storage, while Motorola One Power is identical to the Motorola One with 64GB of internal memory, expandable further by up to 256GB.

Optics Department:

Both the devices have dual rear camera setup, where the Motorola One sports a dual rear camera system with two 13-megapixel sensors. And One power wears a with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Up the front, Motorola One gets an 8-megapixel camera sensor. There is a 12-megapixel camera sensor on Motorola One power.

Battery:

The Motorola One Power gets a big 4,850mAh battery, users can get up to six hours of power in just 15 minutes. While the Motorola One houses a smaller 3,000 battery with support for Motorola’s TurboPower fast charging technology, users can get up to 6 hours of usage from a quick 20-minute charge.

Software:

As both these phones are in the Android One program, both the device offer stock, bloatware-free Android Oreo experience out of the box. Motorola also promises 3 years of timely security updates. And expect an update of Android Pie “soon after launch”.

Connectivity:

Both the devices include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and 4G VoLTE. The smartphone also comes with a USB Type-C port and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
