| By DWR Editor

Motorola is all set to add another smartphone, called the Motorola Nio. Just a few days back, the company unveiled the Moto G Stylus, G Power and G Play, and Motorola One 5G Ace smartphones. Now, ahead of the official launch, a couple of hands-on images have surfaced online, giving us a glimpse of what could be the design of it.

The leaked images show the upcoming Motorola Nio featuring quad rear cameras and the flash is positioned below the camera setup. Over at the front, the phone can be seen sporting a dual punch-hole cutout at the top left corner.

One of the images also shows the settings page shows it as “Motorola Edge Plus” which means this could just be a prototype. That said, the display on this live image is also similar to a front render of Motorola “Nio” with a dual punch-hole screen leaked a few days ago.

Further, the rear panel of the phone seems to have a color that the tipster notes is the ‘Sky’ variant. Apart from this, the handset will also have a “Beryl” variant which could be a Green/Blue color. One can also see “64MP camera” and “Audio Zoom” keywords below the camera setup. It has a volume rocker and power button on the right edge. The power button doubles as a fingerprint sensor.

Motorola Nio Specifications

According to the earlier leaks and certificates, the phone will have 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, and GNSS, and a 5,000mAh battery with 20W charging.

There will be a quad rear camera module, consisting of a 64MP main, 16MP ultra-wide sensors. For selfies, the phone is likely to feature a 16MP + 8MP(ultra-wide) set up in the front. It is said to be powered by an older Snapdragon 865 SoC which will be assisted by 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. Further, it is expected to get an FHD+ display with a 2520×1080 resolution and a possible 105Hz refresh rate.
