The new Motorola smartphone, which is said to be in the works with codename “Ibiza”, is speculated to debut very soon as per a report. Ahead of the official unveiling, the specifications of the Motorola Ibiza have appeared online.
Motorola Ibiza specifications were listed on TechnikNews. The report suggests that the device will come with a Snapdragon 400 series chipset (SM4350) with 5G capabilities. So, the upcoming Motorola Ibiza may become one of the first budget devices powered by a 5G Qualcomm chipset. The report also mentions the Qualcomm SoC powering the smartphone is codenamed ‘holi’.
The smartphone is said to pack 4GB RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. It is said to offer a massive 5,000mAh battery. For photos and videos, the Motorola Ibiza is said to have triple rear cameras, with a 48-megapixel Samsung sensor aided by a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit. For selfies and video calling, the Motorola Ibiza is said to carry a 13-megapixel camera. As per the report, the phone will sport an LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
In terms of design, the smartphone looks similar to the Motorola Capri design that we’ve seen in previous leaks. It has a waterdrop notch up front and appears to have slim bezels on the sides, with a chin at the bottom and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The report also claims that the phone will have model number XT2137 and boot Android 11 out of the box.
