Motorola Edge Plus with 12GB RAM, Android 10 Spotted on Geekbench

As reported earlier, the Motorola company is working on the flagship smartphone called ‘Motorola Edge Plus‘. Now, the upcoming Motorola phone has allegedly surfaced on benchmarking site Geekbench along with some key specifications.

A handset with model number motorola motorola edge plus did indeed just pop up on the benchmarking site Geekbench. The device managed to score 4106 points in single-core mode and 12823 multi-core mode on GeekBench version 4.4.0. From the Geekbench result, we can also see the device is powered by a Qualcomm octa-core processor clocked 1.8GHz coupled with whopping 12GB of RAM. The phone’s motherboard has been named “burton” on Geekbench, which seems to be referring to the Snapdragon 865 SoC.

The phone is also listed with Android 10 OS, which is expected. While the listing doesn’t give away much about the upcoming Motorola phone, we can assume the device will be available with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. 

Yesterday, popular tipster revealed that the Lenovo-owned brand Motorola is working on a Motorola Edge+ smartphone which will feature a punch-hole design and the phone will be a Verizon-locked smartphone.

In the meantime, Motorola is also set to release the 5G variant of its new foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr. As per the latest report on a Chinese tech blog, the forthcoming Motorola Razr 5G was showcased at the Wuhan International Expo Center in China. 

The Motorola Razr 5G is being manufactured at the Wuhan facility of the Lenovo Group. It is fuelled by Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with Adreno 616 GPU. Talking about the upcoming 5G variant, it is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 765 or Dimensity 5G chipsets or Samsung’s Exynos 980 instead.
