The Motorola Edge Plus 2022 has been released by Motorola in the United States. It is a rebranded version of the Moto Edge 30 Pro. In the meantime, Motorola Edge 30 Pro has been launched in India for Rs 49,999 for its 8GB + 128GB variant. The phone will go on sale on Flipkart in the country from March 4 in Cosmic Blue colour.

Priced at $999.99 (approx. Rs 75,210), Motorola Edge Plus 2022 is offered in two colour options: Cosmos Blue and Stardust White.

Motorola Edge Plus 2022 is fitted with a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display also offers HDR10+ support, up to 700 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Featuring an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm chip, the device packs Adreno next-gen GPU., 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. Software-wise, it boots Android 12 with MYUI 3.0.

In addition, a 5,000mAh battery is available with 30W TurboPower fast charging. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

There is a triple camera setup on the back of the handset, as well as an LED flash. The rear panel includes a 50MP primary camera with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and a 50MP 114° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. In addition, it features a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, an OV02B1B sensor. There is a 60-megapixel camera sensor on the front of the phone.

Talking about the connectivity options, the device supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, a USB Type-C port, and NFC. It measures 163.56×75.95×8.49mm and weighs 194 grams.
