Motorola will be launching the Motorola Edge smartphone on April 22. With a week remaining for its launch, the Motorola Edge has been spotted on Geekbench revealing some keys specs.
The Motorola Edge has scored 505 in the Geekbench 5’s single-core test. It has recorded a score of 1,410 in the multi-core test. The SoC is coupled with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone runs the Android 10 operating system out of the box.
The Motorola Edge that has appeared on Geekbench 5 does not reveal the name of the processor that powers it. There is a “racer” mentioned in the motherboard field. What’s known is that it is fueled by a Qualcomm chipset that includes an octa-core processor with 1.80GHz base frequency. As per the earlier report, the handset will be fuelled by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 SoC.
It is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm the specifications of the Motorola Edge.
Motorola Edge Specifications
Going by the leaks and reports, Motorola Edge will come with a waterfall OLED panel of 6.67 inches with extremely curved edges. The punch-hole display will have a 25MP selfie shooter and the screen will offer full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
There will be a triple camera setup on the rear that will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor.
It will pack a 4,500mAh battery. Other features on the device will include fast charging support, in-display fingerprint reader, dual speakers, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C.
