Motorola Edge 30 Ultra to launch in India on September 8

Motorola will launch a new flagship smartphone in India, Edge 30 Ultra under its Edge 30 series. The company is all set to launch the Edge 30 Ultra in the country on September 8.

Motorola India has also tweeted about its upcoming Edge-series smartphone(s) in India. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be the world’s first smartphone with a 200-megapixel primary camera. Flipkart is also teasing the launch of Motorola smartphones.

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is set to launch on the 8th of September in the Indian market. He also claimed that it is the first Indian smartphone with a 200MP rear camera.

Edge 30 Ultra is a rebranded version of X30 Pro, released in China recently. In terms of price, the X30 Pro starts at CNY 3,699 (approx. Rs. 43,600) for its base variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Specifications

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra packs a 6.73-inc pOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution and an in-display fingerprint scanner. As for its internal components, the Moto X30 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and comes equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

In terms of cameras, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup and is claimed to be the first-ever smartphone in the world to sport a 200-megapixel camera sensor. The primary sensor will be accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter. The phone has a 60MP selfie camera on the front.

A 4,500mAh battery powers the Edge 30 Ultra with 125W fast charging support and 50W wireless fast charging. The company claims that the device takes just seven minutes to charge the battery to 50 percent, and 19 minutes to charge it to 100 percent.
