Motorola Edge 30 Ultra India launch set for September 13

Motorola has launched its new flagship smartphone Edge 30 Ultra globally. It has now been confirmed that the Edge 30 Ultra will be launched in India on September 13. 

In addition, Motorola confirmed that the phone will be available on Flipkart and other leading retailers. Edge 30 Ultra has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This phone’s main selling point is its camera since it is the first smartphone in the world with a 200MP main camera sensor. 

Motorola has introduced the Edge 30 Ultra with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at EUR 900 (approximately Rs 72,100). It is expected that the Edge 30 Ultra price in India will be slightly lower than the international price. 

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Specifications

Specs-wise, the Edge 30 Ultra boasts a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Full HD+ resolution, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The phone has a 4610 mAh battery with 125W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging support. The device is pre-loaded with Android 12-based MyUX 4.0 out of the box.

It has a triple-camera setup on the back. There is a 200MP Samsung HP1 main camera with an f/1.95 aperture, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom support. To accommodate the 60MP front camera, there is a hole-punch cutout in the top center.

Other features include an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance, stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, etc.  It weighs 199 grams and is 8.39mm thick.
