Motorola Edge 30 Fusion spotted on Geekbench, likely to launch soon

The Moto Edge 30 Fusion is expected to be one of three Edge series smartphones Motorola will launch on September 8. According to reports, the device is a rebranded Moto S30 Pro that was introduced earlier in China. Even though there is no official confirmation, Moto Edge 30 fusion appeared on Geekbench revealing key specs. Earlier, the same device was spotted on certification sites like the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), TUV Certification, and FCC.

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is listed on Geekbench with the model number SM-A042F. According to the listing, the phone will run Android 12 out-of-the-box. It will ship with 8GB of RAM.

Based on its listing, the phone features an octa-core SoC with four cores clocked at 1.8GHz, three at 2.42GHz, and one prime core running at 3GHz. Thus, it is likely that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor will drive the phone.

In single-core performance, the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion achieved 1152, while in multi-core performance, it achieved 3,444.

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Specifications (Expected)

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion will have a 6.55-inch P-OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset coupled with up 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Software-wise, the device will boot Android 12-based MyUI over it. It is expected to be powered by a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging.

In terms of cameras, Motorola Edge 30 Fusion may feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. On the back, it may sport a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit. There will be an in-display fingerprint reader.
