It would be bad news to those who love shatterproof screens. The Motorola unveiled its new flagship phone Moto z3 at an event in Chicago the phone with its fantastic fast snap-on Verizon 5G modem. The company later announced it twitter that it’ is not going to unveil its third instalment in its Z Series like Moto Z2 and Moto z(original series) the new Moto Z3 is not going get its shatterproof Force version in this year.
For the past some years, the Force has always been Motorola’s most advanced model and the one that you can buy with a shatterproof. The new Z3 and the existing Z3 Play don’t use the shatterproof plastic screen. This phone comes with a traditional conical Gorilla glass.
The company announced in its official twitter “We will not be launching any more Moto Z’s this year” tweet reads.
There might be reasons for the company for not coming with its most awaited handset like the previous Force version devices sale is pretty small than that of the main Z series phones. And also all the phones are having the same names with little difference might be confusing to the customers and may ignore. There is also the reason might increase the demand by releasing less number of devices.
Although there is still the possibility that Motorola could release a version of the Z3 with its ShatterShield screen protection technology at some point this year or next, just under a different name.
