Motorola Capri receives FCC Certification, launch seems imminent

Motorola is reportedly in the works to launch a new smartphone on the market. Even though the exact product name of the handset is not known, it is allegedly going to be called the Motorola Capri and has received the FCC certification, which means it may go official soon enough. The FCC document of the Motorola Capri reveals a few aspects of the upcoming smartphone. The handset has model number XT-2127 and is listed with support for connectivity options 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Coming to the battery of the device, it is tipped to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 19W fast charging as per last month’s TUV Rheinland and UL (Demko) listings.

As for the rest of the specifications, the Motorola Capri is expected to feature an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to come with a Snapdragon 460 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. For photography, the Motorola Capri could sport a quad-camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel Samsung S5KGM1ST lens, 2-megapixel Omnivision OV02B1B depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel GC02M1 macro lens, and an 8-megapixel Samsung SK54H7 ultrawide lens. Upfront, the smartphone could house an 8-megapixel Samsung S5K4H7 selfie camera.
