Motorola Capri Plus has been in the news for quite some time. Now, an unannounced phone believed to be Motorola Capri Plus has received the Bureau Of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, therefore hinting at its launch in India soon. The BIS website shows the Motorola Capri Plus with model number XT2129-2. Recently, the Motorola Capri Plus also reportedly spotted on the NBTC certification, bearing the same model number.
Spotted by Mukul Sharma, the tweet by the tipster reveals that Motorola might introduce the phone in India soon. Unfortunately, the specification details, however, are not yet known. Let’s wait for the official confirmation to know about the exact specs, launch date, and pricing of the phone.
Meanwhile, previous reports published by several websites and tipsters have hinted that the Motorola Capri Plus would feature the announced Snapdragon 662 SoC, an HD+ display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Further, the reports had suggested that the phone would come with quad rear cameras with a combination of a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B primary camera, a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02B1B depth assist lens, a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K3I6 superwide lens, and a 2-megapixel GC02M1 macro lens. Upfront, it is tipped to get a Samsung S5K4H7 13-megapixel camera.
It is expected to launch in 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB memory-storage configuration. It is said to run on Android 11. The phone will feature NFC and support dual SIM connectivity.
