Motorola phone has been spotted on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) suggesting its imminent launch. Motorola seems ready to launch another Moto G-series smartphone in India alongside the Moto G 5G on November 30. Ahead of the launch, the Moto G9 Plus phone was spotted on BIS certification websites bearing model numbers XT2083-7 and XT2087-3.
The certification does not tell us anything much about the Moto G9 Plus specifications, but it does reveal the phone will have an XT-2087 model number and will launch in the country soon.
Moto G9 Plus Specifications
The Moto G9 Plus sports a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole display. The display has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage.
In terms of optics, there is a quad-camera setup on the rear with a combination of a 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle camera f/2.2 lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth effects and macro shots. Upfront, it features a 16-megapixel sensor housed inside the punch hole at the top left corner of the screen.
Backed by a whopping 5,000mAh battery, the device ships with a 30W fast charger. The phone boots Android 10 OS and comes with connectivity features such as Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual SIM support (Nano-SIM). It measures 169.98 x 78.1 x 9.69 mm and weighs 223 grams. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
