Moto G9 Play has been spotted on Geekbench, revealing a few information about the device. Moto G9 Play will be an upgrade over the Moto G8 Play smartphone.
The Moto G9 Play has been listed on Geekbench with a model name Motorola Moto (G9) Play. The listing suggests that the phone will boot the Android 10 OS out of the box. The phone, as mentioned, is listed to be powered by the octa-core processor clocked 1.8GHz. The listing hasn’t mentioned the SoC’s name, but the motherboard is listed as “guamp” which is a codename for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor.
The Geekbench listing also suggests that the Moto G9 Play might pack 4GB of RAM. It is likely that this will only be one of the RAM variants of the phone. The single-core score of the phone is listed to be at 313 points and the multi-core score is listed to be at 1,370 points.

Recently, another Moto G9 series smartphone, dubbed as Moto G9 Plus smartphone also surfaced online and the report tipped that the phone will be priced around EUR 277 (approx.Rs 23,000). Moto G9 Plus reportedly packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Another Motorola phone, Moto G 5G Plus previously appeared on benchmarking site Geekbench and also in various certifications suggesting the imminent launch. It is tipped to come with an octa-core Qualcomm processor with a base frequency of 1.8GHz, 4GB of RAM, and Android 10 OS.
