Lenovo-owned Motorola unveiled Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Play and Moto E6 Play at an event in Brazil, but it didn’t launch Moto G8 smartphone in the event. Now, it has popped up in a set of leaked renders, which has revealed the design of the upcoming Moto G8 smartphone.
A new render of an upcoming Motorola smartphone was leaked by Evan Blass on Twitter and the render reveals that the forthcoming Moto G8′ color options and 48MP primary rear camera.
The leaked render revealed that the smartphone will be available in three colour options: Blue, Red and Grey. Up front, there will be a waterdrop notch display and the screen-to-body ratio seems to be similar to what we have seen in the Moto G8 Plus.
On the rear side, it will come equipped with a triple-camera setup that will include combination of 48-megapixel primary lens along with a 5-megapixel secondary shooter and a 4-megapixel third sensor. The camera module is situated at the top left corner with primary lens being at the top, while the other two sensors and LED flash sitting just beneath it in a separate module. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear side with Moto’s famous batwing logo engraved on it.
Moving on, the right side of the phone is a place for volume rockers and power button. On the bottom side, it has a USB Type-C port.
While we have no information on the hardware specifications yet, the phone is expected to come with Moto G8 Plus like specifications.
To recall, Moto G8 Plus was launched in India last month and it comes with a price tag of Rs 13,999. The phone boasts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Max Vision display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, it has a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 512GB.
