Lenovo-owned Motorola is expected to launch its Motorola G7 series early 2019. It is rumored that the company launch the three smartphones. But the new rumor suggests that their could be four devices. Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play. Moto G7 Play has been listed in the Eurasian Economic Commission certification website, confirming its existence.
The model number found in the EEC certification is XT1952-1. The smartphone is currently being tested on the latest Android 9 Pie operating system.
Earlier, the device was spotted on the FCC revealing the 2,820mAh battery. The smartphone is also expected to feature a single camera setup on the back, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Moto G7 Play is rumored to be the cheapest among other devices. The device is also speculated to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset paired by Adreno 506 GPU.
The images of the Moto G7 Play spotted in FCC confirmed that there will be a USB-C, microSD slot audio jack, a hybrid dual SIM slot.
Few reports claimed that Motorola G7 series will sport a trending waterdrop notch design on the front, but from the FCC images of the Moto G7 Play shows that the company decided to ditch the increasingly common notch on top of the display.
