Moto G6, Moto G6 Play With 18:9 Displays Launched in India

Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play have been now officially launched in India, which is a successor Moto G5 series at an event in New Delhi yesterday. Both the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play are already available for sale on an ecommerce platform Amazon India and Flipkart respectively. At the launch event, Motorola announced that the latest Google Lens integration is coming to the native camera app, with landmark recognition and smart text selection which will provide the best quality of images.

Moto G6, Moto G6 Play price in India and launch offers

The Moto G6 price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the variant of 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant, which is going up to Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. It will be available in an only one color options of Indigo. Moto G6 launch offers in India include a flat Rs. 1,250 discount on both the HDFC credit and debit cards as well as EMI transactions.

On the other hand, the Moto G6 Play price in India has been set at Rs. 11,999, and is available in only one model of – 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage. The smartphone will be available in two color options of Fine Gold and Indigo Black. Moto G6 Play launch offers in India include Rs. 1,000 flat discount on purchases made with ICICI credit and debit cards (only on Flipkart.

Moto G6 specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Moto G6 runs on the Android version 8.0 Oreo out of the box, and sports a 5.7-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) Max Vision IPS display. It is powered and supported by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked up to 1.8GHz and which is coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU as well as 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

On the optics department the Moto G6 sports a dual camera setup of 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, featuring an f/1.8 aperture. This smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, and sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) Max Vision IPS display. It is powered and supported by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked up to 1.4GHz, coupled with the Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

The Moto G6 Play has a single rear camera, with the 13-megapixel sensor coupled with an f/2.0 aperture lens. On the front view, it bears an 8-megapixel sensor coupled with an 80-degree wide-angle lens and an f/2.2 aperture which is more good than Moto G6. It bears 32GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

When it comes to connectivity options on the Moto G6 Play it bears the same like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. It is powered by a battery capacity of 4000mAh which provide more power to smartphone and last long and is coupled with a TurboPower charger.
