Motorola on Thursday launched the Moto G100 and Moto G50 smartphones globally, the latest addition to the company’s Moto G series. The Moto G100 smartphone boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, a 90Hz FHD+ display, and a 64MP quad-camera setup.

Moto G100 and Moto G50 Price
The Moto G100 is priced at EUR 499.99 (approx. Rs. 42,800). The device is currently available in a single variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone comes in Iridescent Sky, Iridescent Ocean, and Slate Grey colour options.
The Moto G50 price in India has been set at EUR 229.99 (approx. Rs. 19,500) for the base model that offers 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The company is yet to reveal the price of the other model which offers 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Steel Grey and Aqua Green are two color options of the phone.
Moto G100 Specifications
The Moto G100 has quad cameras on the rear, featuring a 64MP (f/1.7 aperture) primary sensor with PDAF and LED flash, a 16MP (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide-angle lens with a 117-degree field of view, a 2MP depth lens, and a TOF advanced laser autofocus. On the front, the phone has a 16MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view for selfies and video calling.
Powering the smartphone is a 5,000mAh, supported by 20W turbocharging. The device is fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage onboard storage.
Moto G100 comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2520× 1080 pixels resolution, dual punch-hole cameras, and HDR10. The smartphone sports a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It measures 168.38 x 73.97 x 9.69mm and weighs 207 grams. The phone also has P2i splash-resistant coating and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Moto G50 smartphone boasts of a quad rear camera comprising of a 48-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 5-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It sports a 13-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with 720×1,600 pixels screen resolution, 269ppi pixel density, and an 85 percent screen-to-body ratio.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor with 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants. Other features include a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging, Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 165x75x9mm and weighs 192 grams.
