Moto G100 design, specifications, price leaked ahead of launch on March 25

Motorola is all set to launch the Moto G100 later this month, which is slated for March 25. Ahead of its debut, render and specifications has been leaked that shows off its design, courtesy of tipster Evan Blass

As seen in the above render, Moto G100 features a dual punch-hole display design. The cut-out is placed on the top-left corner of the screen houses two selfie cameras. These images reveal that the phone has four cameras inside the squarish module on the back, assisted by an LED flash and also a Motorola batwing logo.

There are a volume rocker and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right edge followed by a Google Assistant situated on the left edge. The bottom edge has a USB-C port, an audio jack, a speaker grille and a microphone. According to the renders of the Moto G100, the phone will come in an Iridescent Ocean colour variant.

Moto G100 Specifications

It is rumoured to feature a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with an LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 21:9 aspect ratio, 560 nits of peak brightness and HDR10 certification. The report mentions that the Moto G100 will come with a quad-camera setup on the back, which will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and one ToF sensor. The device will also come with 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras on the front.

The Moto G100 will come packed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870. It will come up to 12GB of RAM. On the storage front, the handset is said to come with 256GB of native storage along with a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 1TB. On the software front, the phone will ship with Android 11. 

It is rumoured to be fitted with a 5000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging out-of-the-box. Other features of the phone will include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Moto G100 Price

A previous report revealed that the 8GB + 128GB variant of the phone in Blue colour will cost EUR 479.77 (approx. Rs 41,600). The phone is said to be a rebranded version of the Moto Edge S smartphone that was launched in China recently.
