After launching the Moto G9 Power earlier this month, the brand seems to be gearing for another smartphone in the series, called the Moto G Play (2021). The device has now appeared on the Google Play Console listing, revealing some key specifications.

According to the listing, Moto G Play (2021) specifications will include the SM4250 chipset (Snapdragon 460) with 4GB RAM. The smartphone will come with a display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 280ppi pixel density. The Moto G Play (2021) is listed as running on the Android 10 operating system.

The listing also shows the front of the Moto G Play (2021) smartphone. The phone has a waterdrop notch and a thick bottom bezel. Also, its right edge is fitted with a volume rocker and a power key.

Last month, popular tipster OnLeaks had shared the CAD renders of the Moto G Play (2021) that revealed the phone will have a 6.5-inch display with a punch-hole design. On the rear, the phone is spotted featuring a square-shaped camera housing for its triple shooters and an LED flash. It also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone reportedly measures 165.3 x 75.4 x 9.5mm. The tipster had also mentioned that the model number of the device is XT-2117. As suggested by listing on the TUV Rheinland certification website, the handset may be fueled by a 4,850mAh battery.

This is everything we know about the Moto G Play (2021) specifications and features at the moment, but we hope to come across more information soon. There is no word yet on the smartphone’s launch date, we have to wait for the announcement of the official launch date and more information about the upcoming Motorola smartphone.
