Motorola has announced the Moto Edge X30, the latest flagship in the company’s Edge series. It is the world’s first phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It also comes with a 60MP under-the-display front camera.

The company also unveiled the Moto Edge X30 special edition with 60MP under-screen camera for a price tag of 3,999 yuan (approx. Rs. 47,410). It comes in single12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Moto Edge X30 Specifications
Moto Edge X30 boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, up to 700 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The device is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm Mobile Platform with Adreno next-gen GPU. The device features 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It boots Android 12-based MYUI 3.0 out of the box.
A triple camera setup at the rear of the phone is equipped with a 50MP primary camera with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, a 50MP 114° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, OV02B1B sensor. There is also an LED flash. Further, there is a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, OV02B1B sensor. Upfront, there is an under-display 60MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Additionally, there is a 5,000mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging. A fingerprint scanner can be found on the side of the device. It also features face recognition.
Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, a USB Type-C port, and NFC. The handset measures 163.56×75.95×8.49mm and weighs 194 grams.
