Moto Edge 20 Pro to launch in India on October 1

The Edge 20 series was recently launched by Motorola in India. As part of the launch, the company launched two devices – the Edge 20 Fusion (aka Edge 20 Lite) and the Edge 20. Edge 20 Pro, which is the top model in the Edge family, was not released in the Indian market. The Pro model will be launched in India soon, according to Motorola.

Now, Moto Edge 20 Pro is set to launch in India soon. The official Twitter handle for Motorola India has posted an image of the camera module of the Pro model, along with the message “coming soon.”. There is no mention of the launch date in the teaser image. According to the Flipkart listing, a new Motorola phone is set to launch in India on October 1.

It is expected that the Edge 20 Pro will cost in the range of Rs 40,000 in India. Currently, the device is available for €699 (approx. Rs 60,360) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. If Motorola wants to keep the price low in India, the device may have 8GB of RAM. There are two colors available for this phone: Iridescent White and Midnight Blue.

Moto Edge 20 Pro specifications

Edge 20 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate support. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC powers the device.

There are three cameras on the back of the phone. It consists of a 108MP primary camera sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide lens capable of shooting macro images, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom. The 32MP front-facing camera has a hole-punch cutout on the device. Powered by a 4,500mAh battery, the device supports fast-charging up to 30W. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 11.
