After the invasion of Chinese giants like Xiaomi and Realme in Indian mobile market. Almost all domestic smartphone makers lost their prominence in the market while Micromax is in the list which didn’t give up its pride. Since from few days, the firm has been teasing about its two new smartphones with dual camera setup which is finally launched today. Micromax has just launched two smartphones under its new ‘Infinity-N’ series.
The two new smartphone debut as Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 which are priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 8,999, respectively. Both these smartphones fall into an affordable segment that packs midrange features and specifications. The details about their availability are yet to be revealed.
These are also Micromax’s first smartphones to come with notched displays. Speaking about specifications, Both these models packs almost identical specifications. On the design, Both the smartphones feature a glossy rear panel, with the Infinity N12 flaunting a dual-tone gradient finish while the Infinity N11 features a strip on the left side of the rear panel surrounding the dual camera module.
On Display, Both models feature a 6.19-inch HD+ notched display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The devices are powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, however, the amount of RAM differs. Where the Infinity N11 comes with a 2GB of RAM paired a 32 GB internal storage. While The Infinity N12 comes with 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage and with an expandable option via a microSD card.
On Imaging duties, he Infinity N12 features an AI-assisted 13MP+5MP dual rear camera set-up which comes with support for bokeh shots and automatic mode detection. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera which also has support for bokeh effect and night mode.
The Infinity N11 has a 13MP+5MP dual rear camera setup with the same set of features as the Infinity N12, but it comes equipped with an 8MP front camera. Both the devices feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and also have support for face unlock.
Both models boast large 4,000mAh battery and run Android 8.1 Oreo. The company also announcedto release Android 9 Pie update for both the devices within the next 45 days.
The smartphone is available in Blue Lagoon, Viola Black, and Velvet Red colour options. As a launch offer, The latest Micromax devices come with Reliance Jio’s Rs 2,200 cashback offer which also includes 50GB of additional data. The offer is available through recharge plans of Rs 198 and Rs 299.
